In the secion "General Settings", the general environment settings can be set. For example, an environment highlight can be chosen and the logging of usage data can be setup here.
The various options that can be configured are described in the sections below.
In the section "Environment", a highlighting color can be selected, to make it easier for users to distinguish in which Content Gate they are working.
The import/export function can be used to export the Content Gate configuration from one Content Gate environment and import this configuration into another environment.
On the licenses & usage tab it is now possible to view the assigned licenses versus the maximum amount of licenses. For more information please review the section about User Licensing. This page also shows an overview of content requests that have been sent versus the number of external content requests that have been licensed.
In the section "Data Logging" it is possible to enable and configure the logging of the usage data. When data logging is enabled, all actions around content items are logged into an Azure Blob table.
To configure the data logging, the following information should be provided:
In the section "Service Accounts", service principles can be specified that are used for applications that needs to integrate with Content Gate. Note that only service principles can be used that are setup in the Azure subscription for which a consent is given for Content Gate.
To improve the performance of the preview functionality in Content Gate, caching of the previewer files can be enabled. Especially when working with large files, it is recommended to enable this feature. The cached preview files are stored in an Azure Blob container. When this functionality is enabled, the following information needs to be provided:
The content request functionality of Axtension® Content Gate enables users to request content from non-Content Gate users within our outside your organization.
Note: please contact sales@axtension.com in order to make this functionality available in your environment.
In order to use the content request functionality, the following settings need to be configured in the administrative page of the application.
When the toggle "Content Request" is enabled, the settings that needs to be configured appear. The email notifications can be enabled or disabled using the "Email notification" toggle.
The external mail messages that are sent out to the participants of a content request, can be branded by changing the company and logo that is shown in the mail messages.
Further, we need to configure an Azure Blob storage location for temporary storing the uploaded document. Each uploaded document is stored in this location, until the review process of the document is completed. After the completion of this review process, the file will be moved to the applicable storage provider as configured in the storage settings.
